Does anyone've plans for Valentine's Day?
I had an epiphany that instead of being miserable as usual with being single, to others by seeking to do some volunteer work; health & weather permitting of course! Therefore it has to be something, that I don't; have to schedule but be able, to just attend!
However if that isn't an option, I'll just celebrate the fact that since I am overweight I'm technically more than 1 person; so that justifiably entitles me to a couple's proportionate meal!

But I hope everyone has a fun day .
I believe, that all celebratory days're like that but that isn't where my sentiment concerning it's; for me it's about just being able to even wish a significant other a Happy Valentine's Day! Basically saying/doing something, that particular day that you don't normally; making it special without or with little cost!0 -
No plans set yet. I’ll probably come home after work and make dinner for my rugrats and myself.1

Not really. We'll have a family dinner at home. Maybe have dessert. Not really a big deal for us.1

Aw, I am sorry!0 -
No big plans. Not to be Debbie Downer but we really haven't done Valentine's day very often. Seems like one of those forced holidays. (Here's a $100 worth of roses, $10 card, overpriced candy)
Honestly I'd rather have carnations on a random Tuesday!
No card, no candy, no made in China plush teddy bear.6 -
If I'm lucky the school will force my kids to make me a card. I doubt it though. It is a special day for my parents because my dad proposed to my mom on valentine's day. Maybe I'll make them a special dinner1

The key to not being miserable is to not care some people dont have parents on mothers day or fathers day LIFE GOES ON. I do think its awesome that you are choosing to show love to other people tho that's a good way to spread love1

My boyfriend is working that day and I'm at college but we're hoping to at least try and do something. Maybe go to the cinema or something. It isn't that big of a deal for us really0

Treat yourself... Which probably means some Ben & Jerry's and Netflix snuggled in bed in my jam jams... I promise it's not as sad as it sounds2

That's lovely. My partner and I don't celebrate Valentine's day. It also falls on Ash Wednesday this year so I'll be at church for a lot the evening and work in the day. Got to decide whether to give something up or take something up.0 -
It’s just February 14th. I don’t really buy into the hallmark marketing scheme. Neither does my husband. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯1

Avoiding restaurants, not buying 3x's the price flowers or cards, and not stopping to see the gas station teddy bears.1

Spending a nice afternoon with my husband, hopefully the weather will be nice and we can go for a hike with the pups.1
