Starting 8/8.. 25 pound challenge

I know I can't be the only one out here starting a new diet on a Monday...
I'm looking to lose about 25 pounds. I could use an online support group to weigh in with every Monday.
Please post your starting weight & goal weight, and we will do weigh-ins every Monday morning!

8/8 Starting weight: 169 pounds
Current weight: 169 pounds
Goal weight: 144 pounds

    I don't a weight goal as much as I have a body fat percentage goal but can I still do this with you?

    :bigsmile: I'm more here for pushing myself into getting back into shape. But I have my heart set into rowing, and I need to drop the weight as well!!

    I have been on here since january 4th :0) ... this site has helped in more ways than I could have ever imagined <3 Love mfp....I am sure if you use it you will succeed...the people on here give you strength when you have none...hope because you know you are not alone, and you laugh a giggle along the way....there are a lot of tools so explore them, they are great!

    Morning! I started on July 25th, but I'll weigh in with you every Monday and we can track together. I have more than 25 pounds to lose, but we've all gotta start someplace, right? :)

    Starting Weight (this morning!) 157 pounds
    Goal Weight 140 pounds (fingers crossed)

    Let's go for it. Last year I lost 30lbs, got to 150lbs then have crept up again. Want to finally get to my goal weight and have started today feeling energised and ready for the challenge.

    Got a bit more than 25 to lose, but I'm doing baby steps. My next mini-goal is 25 pounds away, so I'm in!

    This sounds PERFECT! I actually just got started last week but I need to lose about 55 lbs so this will get me 1/2 way to my goal! My first group thing as well. :happy:

    My current weight is 180
    Short term goal would be 155. (loss of 25 lbs)
    Long term goal is 130.....

    Perfect timing and it's my first group challenge too! Time to get over my aversion to bathroom scales :smile:

    Current weight is 158, goal weight is120 but will be very happy to hit 133!

    I'm in!! I just weighed myself this morning and very frustrated

    starting weight 151.0
    goal is 135.0 (pre-baby weight!!!)

    My biggest challenge is eating. I workout 3-5 days a week but my challenge is eating healthy mostly on the weekends.

    Ah, the dreaded Monday morning weigh-in.. I was worried my some-what heavy dinner last night would seriously hurt me today.

    SW 169 .0

    I think it would also be good to say something you are proud about from last week and something you want to improve this week.

    1. So, I'm really proud that I lost 2.1 pounds and ran 1.5 miles on Saturday.
    2. This week I want to be better about logging my calories! I slipped towards the end of last week when I went out of town.
