Heard that. As if there is any danger of that for me. I'm still at least 25 lbs. from a reasonable weight.

Had to get an appropriate Eagles shirt for work today, guess who's sporting a youth size! Super pumped for the Birds now. (: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!14

I went to the grocery store yesterday to buy some makeup. Normally I would take that as an excuse to buy a two liter of Diet Coke. I didn't buy one! I went home and drank water instead. I'll probably buy one tomorrow, but any day I go to the store and DON'T buy one is a victory.
I also passed up Papa Murphy's pizza yesterday, even though I drove right by it and our local one closed about a year ago. I would have eaten half the pizza if I'd bought a pizza, so calories saved!28 -
Ran 8 miles in my half marathon training this morning! Starting to feel my muslces growing and my endurance improving!24

Went to the movies last night and DIDN'T HAVE POPCORN!! Very big deal for me-popcorn is always my snack of choice.23

Me too! Go team!9 -
My 3X bathing suit was was too loose, and I ended up in a 1x again. And I had to buy new belts, and am waiting for payday because my pants are all too big.21

Weekly kcals under 1300! Wasn't even aiming at this9

Went shopping yesterday with friends and I wanted to try on some new workout clothes. I have mostly left overs of things I've had for many years and tons of free t-shirts. I was thinking something fashionable and fun, because why not.
Went to pick out all the same sizes I thought would fit me (if I was lucky because I didn't think they'd fit). I actually had to get a size smaller than the ones I picked for all the pants and the super tiny shorts. And my friends even thought they all looked good in the smaller sizes!13 -
I'm now in a size 30 pants. I started off at a size 44, my earliest ones before the 30s was a 34. Feels good to completely skip 32s.30

I had a cardigan which the sleeves were too tight on me last time I tried it on and now it fits fine. Also tried on a dress which I couldn't zip up last time but today I was able to. It's a little too snug across the chest area but I still feel it's a win!15

1. I’m here! I’ve been lurking and reading these boards for the past 9 months to keep myself engaged while I grew a baby. Now that my baby is born (healthy and beautiful) I can come back, slowly.
2. I’m not wearing any maternity clothes today! Everything is stretchy, but I’ll take it.
3. I have been truthfully logging everything I have eaten for the past week. It still includes some of the treats that people have brought us, but I’m keeping under maintenance based on my breastfeeding calorie burn estimates.
4. I set a goal to lose all the baby weight plus the extra weight I was carrying before I became pregnant by the end of 2018: that’s 59 pounds in 11 months. The huge NSV here is I believe I can do it.
5. I joined a DietBet to help keep me motivated for the first 6 months.
6. I think my health and fitness enthusiasm is running off on my husband! Kicked into gear by our 3 year old telling him he’s getting big. Toddlers deliver the toughest of tough love.38 -
Ate a lot of crappy food yesterday, BUT I did not eat again when I got home. I used to do that, even if I'd been eating all day and wasn't hungry, if it didn't feel like I had a "real meal" I would still eat something. Huge victory there!

I passed the CEO at my work in the hallway. He commented, "I know you won't eat it, but there's birthday cake in the break room if you want it!" I couldn't help but smile that my reputation precedes me. I've had a surprising amount of support from my coworkers, but it's always nice to know that they recognize what I'm trying to do and that they are backing me with it!21

We made some "football" food to watch the Super Bowl and I made sure to log all of it. Holding myself accountable by logging kept me from wrecking what was a pretty good week in terms of diet and exercise.
Bonus NSV - I was close to my daily step goal and instead of climbing right into bed I walked up and down the stairs until I hit it.16 -
I treated myself to a new belt - I actually have to wear one now with my clothes:) I want to get new clothes, a size or 2 smaller (OMG!) but I've got more lbs. to go. But I but I bought a new belt, since I will be wearing one until I hit my goal, which is a reality now! Feels wonderful!13

You are doing great! Congratulations on your new human!10 -
Went to the gym TWICE yesterday to hit my weekly work out goal.24

My "health" victories mean more to me than any number on the scale.
I'm 58 & I've lost 90 lbs since April 2017... with about 40lbs left to my initial goal.
But this is what amazes me:
My blood pressure went from 155/93 to 123/73
I no longer have debilitating heartburn.
Last year I couldn't bear to stand more than a minute or two my back and knees hurt so bad, walking up a flight of stairs took me forever, shopping was a nightmare I dodged whenever possible.
Now my back no longer bothers me. And although I've still got bad knees (I'm scheduled for a knee replacement this summer) I walk 2 miles everyday at lunch.... longer on weekends. I bike, I snowshoe, I workout, I just plain
love being active again.
And I'll be able to chase our first grandchild due in April.
Yep...... the numbers on the scale only tell one story.53
