Tracking breastfeeding

How do you track your breastfeeding once your baby starts eating food? Keep the 500 calories or maybe go down to 250 calories? He's 8 months if that helps.

Most people suggest to eat at maintenance and let the breastfeeding create the deficit though once they start breastfeeding less then maybe start slowly adding your own deficit but pull it back if you notice a decrease in production. Babies should get most of their nutrition through breastmilk/formula until the first birthday. Food until then is just for fun and learning.0

Thanks for your help! When I'm away from him I still pump about 32 ounces a day so I'll keep doing 500 for breastfeeding untill he's a year.0
