NSV: I've been doing Pilates and/or yoga twice a week for three weeks now (this is week 3) and I can actually see a difference in my posture. I feel taller. I also sit up straight more at my desk. AND I keep my chest open and shoulders down. Which eats into my back muscles a lot. It feels good this new found posture I have. I feel confident and taller and like I've accomplished something14

I'm down a pant size in my jeans, it took a month.20

a few things;
a colleague described me as a "petite"
I ordered a crop top and would have actually worn it in public but it's like 40 degree out.

I ran (walked, jogged...traveled) 3.1 miles in under 40 minutes.35

I got a new personal best calorie burn walking on the treadmill — 563 in an hour. And for the longest 90 seconds ever, I had the treadmill incline at 14! (I was curious how high the incline went but was afraid I might fall off if I made it any higher. But I didn’t!) I’m hoping to go to San Francisco for work in a couple months, and need to be able to climb those hills!23

Had the worst sweet cravings yesterday. Overcome with the NEED for chocolate. I had some chocolate but instead of eating a huge 100-150g bar of milk chocolate, I ate a smaller 40g dark chocolate bar from a raw vegan company that uses no added sugar in their products.
I damn near searched the whole city for something that worked like that. Proud I didn’t cave and eat a huuuuuge bar of chocolate.23 -
Went to VibePower (BodyPump/Pump FX) class last night with mate – new class that replaced Pump FX that she taught and she wanted to see what it was like.
Instructor asked if we had done weights before, we said yes and she asked if we were instructors!!!! If WE were! As in me!! Was I an instructor? Hahaha this buzz is going nowhere fast!!
did briefly think about becoming an instructor this morning but what with life, actual job, cost to train, time to train, finding work and getting insured after qualify - nah, will pass.

Also, after a year on these boards, the first time a client asked me for exercises to get rid of her stomach, I would probably roll my eyes so hard they would walk off.15 -
I am grateful for every motivating post here. Thank you one and all!
Yesterday I wore my “incentive pants” to work and they fit beautifully. -123 lbs.41 -

I know these are all older posts, but just very inspiring even in 2018! Yesterday, I had a big feeling of accomplishment... I was able to fit (wear all day) a pair of smaller jeans that have just been sitting in my dresser sadly not getting worn because I could not get them on!! Wearing them yesterday made me feel thin and carefree. I caught myself looking at my reflection when I passed windows and mirrors. Who’s that lady?16

Okay, so this isn't strictly my NSV but it just goes to show how habits rub off on others . . .
My youngest son, who is a ravenous teenager now, turned down free chocolate today. Not what I'd expect but he said that he couldn't see the point in eating something that he didn't like, just because it was there.
Oddly enough, my five year old did a similar thing yesterday - she'd been given a chocolate bar by someone we know by sight, a few days later tried it and said that she didn't want anymore as she didn't like it. She also asked us not to tell the lady concerned (we wouldn't have anyway) as she didn't want her to be upset.
Note to children: Form good habits early in life and you'll never be the morbidly obese, unfit, unhealthy person that your mother was for most of her life.35 -
Bought a smaller pair of jeans. Another person at work asked my if I've lost weight.

Such a good feeling isn’t it? My niece finally wants to start eating healthy and swimming like me! So she’s been taking lessons and amped about doing swim team this summer!

I did 20 consecutive push ups (real ones, not modified).29

I've met the 10K steps goal every day for the last 28 days! I've been wearing my tracker for about a year and that's my longest streak so far.
I'm grateful for this NSV because scale victories haven't been happening for the last three weeks.25 -
I could finally carry my sleeping son from the car to his bed without a struggle, and being out of breath!26

We had a huge storm here a few weeks ago. A co worker was telling me: You know [name] don't you? She is quite small, you know tiny like us and she was blown off her feet hurting her hip.
I felt really sorry for the lady in question but I was chuffed that this co-worker described me as as tiny like herself and the young lady.23
