do you want fast or healthy? you cant have both, unless you have over 100lbs to lose?10

get into a @1200KCal/day deficit and maintain.
Of course to do that successfully you'll need to have a high TEE or you end up with too low a calorie intake and risk metabolic adaptation kicking in.
If you can find a way of increasing your energy expenditure by 1200KCal/day that would work, or perhaps a 600Kcal deficit combined with a 600Kcal expenditure increase. Personally I up the total volume of exercise, include sessions of resistance training, ensure I'm performing HIT (fartlek) during the conditioning sessions to increase aerobic capacity and try and add activity into my everyday by walking more, standing more, carrying stuff when I do walk, taking stairs, and so on.32 -
Depends if you have a lot to lose. If so then yes, its doable. If someone only has 10-30lbs to lose then no, that wouldn't be healthy.4

(not sure why it's in the recipe section)
Totally depends on how many kilos you have to lose. You'd probably have to literally starve yourself if you only had 20 kg to lose or less.2 -
I weigh 65kg, i wanna lose at least 5 to 7kg!1

then, no. start a healthy diet and exercise program, and the weight will come off when it's ready. be sure to add weight training into your workouts to keep your body looking strong and firm as you shrink down.
you're worth the wait, I promise.17 -

Impossible to give a specific calorie recommendation when you don't know any of her specifics. If she is working out, or very active, what you proposed could be unhealthy in her situation.8 -
OP, you are only about 143 lbs. Trying for rapid weight loss at your weight would very likely be unhealthy. You might want to shoot for something closer to a 1 pound per week, which is approximately 0.5 of a kilogram. If you are tall, you might need to go even slower than that.
How tall are you?5 -
If it takes longer than a month, will you still want the weight gone?7
-
One thing that you will find is that if you start a weight training and cardio program like has been suggested, you may only lose 0.5 kg per week, but you will also see progress as in clothes fitting better, starting to look more fit, even though the scale weight may be coming off slowly.4

You could try a low carb diet. You might drop some weight quickly due to water loss.5

Might work, but it’d be primarily water, not fat—most of it’ll come right back on the second OP so much as looks at cake.
The only real long-term solution is to just deal with the fact that weight loss takes time, and it takes even more time if you didn’t start it two months ago. And you could either be saying the same thing two months from now, or just get going.6 -
Possible? Yes. Pleasant or healthy? Not unless you're obese. Even then, it's iffy. Look, your goal weight has not expiration date, so just take it slow (read: healthy) and steady. There's no need to rush, and doing so will only make it harder than necessary and way more likely that you'll quit before you reach your goal.6
-
Rapid weight loss is neither wise nor sustainable.
At your weight, a pound a week is s healthy goal.
What’s the rush?
Follow MFP’s stats and just follow the CICO rule.
Exercise could increase the weight loss, but be sure to eat back some calories.
This is so much more than about weight loss. This is a journey of growth, courage and understanding and improving our health.3 -
Fast and healthy are not going to go together. It’s going to take several months, not just one.2
-
I did this starting at 140lbs, but I restricted heavily and unhealthily and absolutely wouldn’t recommend it. But as far as being physically possible.. yeah, it is.1

you wait to aim to lose 0.5lb per week3 -
5kg is doable if you are going low carb ..... unfortunately it wont all be fat , 1-2kg is likely to be water loss from low carbing it and low glycogen levels ... the very second you eat something starchy again you will suck that water back

Impossible to give a specific calorie recommendation when you don't know any of her specifics. If she is working out, or very active, what you proposed could be unhealthy in her situation.
Hence all the caveats around TEE and the issues of getting into metabolic adaptation.
The OP asked how. The feasibility, sustainability and long term consequences will depend on individual factors. It is worth noting that the most recent research shows that rapid weight loss is more sustained than the traditional slow and steady, not everything we “know” is true.
If a 1200Kcal/day deficit is unrealistic because of individual factors such as height, starting weight and activity levels then the OP is not going to hit that 5kg/month target. For a short term focused loss it probably is achievable, but there would likely be an amount of lean tissue loss that could be avoided by a steadier reduction given the 65kg 165cm start point.
I answered the question asked, not the one I think they should have asked.4 -
Love, there is no different diet to achieve this. You can cut of an arm and that's the only way.
Numbers?
So your bmi is approximately 1458, your TDEE with a sedentary lifestye about 1750. Ok, so lets say you burn about 1750kcal in a day. If you wanted to lose 5kg in a month you'd need to eat a total of 35000kcal less. That would mean each day you'd have to eat 1166kcal less.
1750-1166 = 584kcal of food only
That would not only be foolish, but extremely unhealthy. Remember, your body needs about 1458kcal just to survive. Do you switch off your brains for this one month to achieve this? No need to work, study or do anything else? Besides, a substantial part of this loss would be muscles, not fat. So you'd be skinnyfat at the end of this month as well, and most likely lose your hair and feel completely rubbish, and not great.

You should follow the "eat a little bit less calories than your maintenance level while accurately tracking your calories" diet.8 -
