Your starting weight and height? What’s the rush? Losing weight takes time.1

It is 6 weeks till end of March. 20lbs is unrealistic unless morbid obease.
Start tracking what you eat and burn. Set app for between 0.5 and 1 lb a week loss. Stick with it0 -

just aim to lose 2 pounds a week. you wont hit your goal by the end of march but you will be close. if you rush weight loss your much more likely to gain it back or fail0

Not really...........
OP - can select 2 pounds a week. For that to actually happen a 1000 calorie deficit would be needed. This website is going to bottom out at 1200 calories (for women) regardless of the weekly goal. Unless OP is tall, or very active a 1200 calorie goal isn't going to be a 1000 calorie deficit. Plus, as OP gets closer to goal weight loss slows.
OP - with 20 pounds to go, a 1 pound a week goal is realistic. Set your weekly goal to 1/2 pound when you are within 10 pounds of goal. Larger deficits make it harder for your body to support existing lean muscle mass. The price for fast weight loss is often a higher body fat % (at goal).1 -
My fast track is:
As many raw veggies as you can eat - throw in a few leaves, and some lean protein at least 4 times each day (chicken breast, egg, fish or lean pork - ham is ok) have it ready at all times.
I like low carb protein shakes too.
No sugar, bread, pasta or cakes or cookies
Light on the fruit. Keep it for a treat only.
I find that if I keep myself full of the good stuff, I have no room for anything else.
Also - KEEP BUSY - I will put anything in my mouth if I get bored!!
This app is a great tool to keep track of what you have eaten. When I record what I eat, I succeed.
This is just what works for me to get me started.
You need a more precise menu to keep the rhythm3 -
If only...... If you figure out that holy grail of dreams without injuring yourself or promptly gaining it back, let us know how. Or better yet for you, go into business selling the solution - that would be a gold mine.0

The most important thing I've learned from losing weight is not to put a set date on your goals. 20lbs is a very ambitious goal for 6weeks away. Eat at the deficit MFP gives you and if it happens it happens but if it doesn't happen by the 1st of March don't beat yourself up over it. If you stick with it, depending on how much you have to lose, you will lose those 20lbs and more.
Losing 20lbs is a great goal! But you need to give yourself some more time.0
