Was away on vacation for a week, and just got back yesterday. Very proud of myself for staying on track with my food and exercise - walked at least 10,000 steps every day and got in a workout in the hotel gym on my one "down" day. Despite the fact that I did not lose any weight this past week, I still feel pretty great since I enjoyed my time off and I did not gain any weight! Sometimes staying the same is a win. But I now have three weeks to lose 5 lbs, so gotta get serious

I am not very proud of myself this week. While I was good during the day and worked out almost every day, it's like all my motivation goes out the window after 5 p.m. with nighttime snacking and wine. I am having a hard time staying motivated for more than a day or two at a time. Might be the time of year, who knows. Anyway, I'm hoping this number on the scale (which, as you can see, is only 1 pound away from where I started a few years ago) is enough to get me back on track.2 -

It's okay. Each step is a learning experience. You are doing what you can. Expand on the right choices and move forward from there. You can do this!

Weigh in day and I am up almost 3 lbs. I don’t even know what to say. I’ve been working my butt off and drinking my water and my eating habits have been like always. Only thing I can assume is this is PMS. My weight shot up suddenly after last weigh in and has just stayed up there all week. I’ve never had PMS symptoms like this. Could it be my weight loss? I dunno. Something to ask my doctor next time i see him. Fingers crossed once my period starts this week it will go right back down.
