Same here, aiming to lose close to 15 lbs. Can’t believe it but also 41 years old...when did that happen?! Definitely not as easy as in my 20s and 30s. Feel free to add me too26

Hey. I’m Kat. Next birthday in a few months is 41! Been using this app on and off for years. Finally made the commitment to use it again with a dieting program after a visit to the GI doc and a number on the scale that I’d never seen before. Decided right then and there that I was ready for some change! Would love some pals to keep motivated. Don’t know the first thing about how you add friends on here. Anyway, as of today I’m down 5.8 pounds from where I began three weeks ago. Ideally I’d love to lose another 20 but am not sure how that’ll happen or if it’s realistic.
Would be good to have friends on a similar path and likewise support you all.38 -

Hi Ladies! 42yr old here. I've been on MFP for about 2 years now. Used it to drop about 14lbs initially. Stopped logging and just used it for support after that. Just logging in here daily is enough to keep me consistently working out and being mindful of what I eat. So even though I gained about 10lbs back, half of it was muscle. Just cut the fat in Jan again. If anyone needs support feel free to add me.4

This sounds very familiar! I joined MFP recently but didn't really try it, now looking for something fresh after using Sparkpeople for 10 years. Just turned 47, busy mom of two young boys, barely recognize myself from the recent weight creep. Sad and tired of feeling so frumpy. Really *really* want to turn it around and be my best, fit, healthy self. Good wishes to you all!9 -

Have been officially logging and exercising since mid January. Anyone making steady progress weekly or monthly? It seems I’m really going to have to take a long term view of losing and am curious if anyone else is or has had to adjust to that?13 -
