I had one this week. I had a lot more trips to the bathroom than normal.

I'm regularly lower in the evening (pre dinner) than I am in the morning but my evening meal takes care of that (yes, I weigh 2x a day, sometimes 3, but I don't get emotionally invested in it  )

Grats on the whoosh! Those are always fun.

I wouldn't know, as I don't check my weight in the evening.

I don't normally check in the evening as I know I'll be heavier. But I went to the look quite a few times today while being too busy to get my usual large amount of tea. So I was wondering :*

For me it involves a lot of trips to the bathroom. Like every 10 minutes for hours. It sucks.

It's not quite that bad for me. Fortunately.

Same here. My co-workers asked if everything was okay a few hours into shift.

Peeing. Might also be pooping if you're chronically constipated due to dehydration.

Yep, clearly a woosh. I'm down 800gr compared to yesterday morning. Considering my water weight fluctuates up to 400gr per week and is highest on Friday or Saturday morning, this is massive downward shift.

I have never experienced a whoosh ever. This is my second time losing weight. I lose daily in small amounts adding up to weekly loss. If my weight doesnot goes down daily then there is no change at the end of week. So not lucky with whooshes happening all of a sudden.

Definitely those extra trips to the ladies room. I cut off drinking water/tea at a certain time too and I'm always consistent with that.

When I was losing it always happened overnight (which sucked, but at the same time I knew good things were happening) so I knew I was experiencing a whoosh.

I hope I get a woosh soon! Been hovering within the same kilo for a month and it's driving me insane cause i want to get into the 70's kg range (first major goal). I was 80 exactly yesterday and back up again today

This happens instead of daily. I maintained all week, even showed a 1lb gain one morning, now I am down 4lb. for the week. Still jealous?

@BWA468 are you using a food scale? If not you might actually be eating close to maintenance.

Yep using a food scale, measuring my foods etc. Being as accurate as I possibly can be. Been going hard at the gym so thinking its water retention?? Have started eating more to counteract my exercise burn cause i wasnt and i was starving! It hasnt made any difference at all! Still sitting within the same kilo.. *sigh*

If anyone has any suggestions I'd like to try them apart from cutting calories cause I have a fit bit and eat maybe half back at the most (today im over but was quite a bit under yesterday). Getting good amount of protein, have cut carbs a bit, sodium levels are so so depending on the day but mostly pretty good... i dont know what to do from here apart from just keep waiting for it to drop??

I don't get whooshes either. I think it's just a slight difference in something about our bodies. I don't get water weight fluctuations either. If there's a difference on the scale I've got to work at taking it off again or eat more (not that that happens!)

I've had some crazy whooshes and anti-whooshes this month. On Jan 15, I weighed 198.8. After a few days, my weight shot up to 205. I knew I couldn't have gained that much in that short of time so I didn't update. But my weight hovered between 203-205 for the next two weeks so I finally gave in and updated my weight to 203.8. That was two days ago. This morning I got on the scale and I weighed 198...
