Tips?

So I have started my diet and exercising I'm at a 1200 calorie goal and I burn more at the gym than I take in. I'm still hardly losing weight does anybody have any good tips or tricks to help me. Lost 4 pounds so far.

How long have you been dieting and exercising? 4 pounds isn't nothing. It takes time to lose weight, it won't happen over night. Looking at your dairy it only looks like you've been logging for a few days. To make sure you're really only eating 1200 calories (is this MFP's recommended amount for you? 1200 is usually on the lowest end of what is recommended to eat per day, so make you're eating enough, especially if you're exercising - you don't want to lose muscle mass too) you have to log everything, which means weighing food, watching portion sizes, etc. As long as you're doing that, the weight will come off. It took time to put that weight on, it will take time for it to come off.0

Yes that was the recommended amount. I have a hard time sticking to it. But I can usually eat under that amount in calories if I'm determined.0 -

One of the biggest tips is to make sure you are always logging what you are eating and logging it accurately. You should continue to log always, regardless of your goal. Even if you are over the recommended amount, by continuing to log you can see what adjustments you need to make and where to improve.1
