I just bought a scale and am already in love, but I want to make sure I’m getting the most out of it, as I’ve never used one before. Anything I need to know?

When I make a recipe at home I measure out all my ingredients beforehand on the scale. Before I portion out I weigh the cooked product as a whole, pre-weighing the vessel, then divide by the number of portions I want to get weight of each cooked portion. I download most recipes I find online to MFP or manually add recipes I have at home, then adjust quantities & number of portions each time I make the dish to make sure my calories are accurate when I log a meal.2
