Question for OP: what was your bf % from after you lost the weight to after you finished the year of muscle build? I’m trying to figure if 21-22% bf should be my goal after I reach goal weight

I just got a WeightGURUS scale and am at 22%. I don’t know what my percentage was before but I dropped from size 4-6 dress to 2. Size medium shirts to XS.

What’s your gym routine like? I need some motivation and guidance in terms of fitness... I’d love to work on getting fit and increasing my muscle mass but I’m so new..

@VelvetTeddyX Nutrition is 90% of the battle. I do a cross between flexible dieting and Macros. Hitting my calorie and protein goals is a priority. I try to keep my carbs below 70g but my heart isn’t broken if I don’t make it. Try to eat 1g of protein per pound of lean body mass.

    My gym routine is:
    Run 30min 3X a week
    Run 60min 1X a week
Body pump class 3X a week (plan to replace this with StrongLifts 5X5 very soon)
Take group exercise classes with a PT with coworkers 2X a week during lunch.

I try to find fun active activities to do on weekends such as joining sports teams, rock climbing and races.

  • You are absolutely stunning. Well done on all your hard work :)

You look amazing! I am trying to lose 18 more lbs and then go to heavy lifting/muscle building for phase two. This is very inspirational.
