Have to ask, did he actually say you were fat when he dumped you?2 -
Just...wow!
Revenge body is great but please do this for YOU first and foremost. Doing it for him still allows him to have power over you. I know, I've been there. Feel free to add me if you wish.20 -
I’m working on mine too! So far I’m down 94lbs! 32more until I hit goal weight!5

You need to see the positive side that you have already lost alot of weight. I guess you could call it DEAD weight or some call them EX spouses.5

Yes, he said I am fat and after being together for 8 months he is tired of being with a fat person. I am not overweight, I wear a size S/M. But it did gave me extra motivation to lose more now.6 -

Jesus.
Are you in high school?
Not an insult. Just can’t imagine any other situation in which that would be fat.
Btw- you and I have very similar stats! And I love my body. Don’t feel bad.5 -
“The greatest revenge is being happy.”
So I certainly hope you find it.:)11 -

Well, it sounds like you lost a whole load of weight when that asshat left you. I hope your new life is much, much lighter without that negativity in it!2 -
About four months after my ex-husband left, I'd lost about 30 pounds and was the thinnest I'd been in 15+ years. People who hadn't seen me since my divorce would ask me how much weight I'd lost. I told them, "I lost 220 unwanted pounds on September 16, 2002." When they asked me how I lost all that weight in one day, I told them, "He went back to his mother." I've since put it back on and then some but I'm determined to take it off in the next year (once I lose 50 pounds, I'm giving myself a short, unscheduled cruise!)
Good luck to you Stacy! I'm living proof that divorce can be the best thing that's ever happened to you. Not just body-wise. Since my divorce I've obtained a bachelor's and master's degree and am currently working on my doctorate. I've traveled all over the world; none of which would have been possible had I stayed married to him!!8 -
Do it for you. It will mean more. (As a side note, I lost about 50 pounds last year and my ex-husband told me he never liked skinny girls after I asked him if he thought I lost too much weight -someone had recently made a comment that I had. Thankfully, my ex and I don't give a rat's *kitten* what the other thinks of the other's weight. My ex was not that impressed with my awesome weight loss, but I still am! What you think will matter more than what he thinks.) Also, I agree with poster above when she says divorce can be the best thing that ever happened to you. I am so glad we divorced when we did. It was the best thing for me and my kids. Many things became possible for my kids and I as well because of the divorce that would not have been had we remained married.5

Your attitude is badass!1 -
It’ll never last if you do it for anyone other than yourself. Speaking from experience. Good luck.1
