    Good morning!

    Well...I am exactly the same this week...still up 2 pounds since starting the challenge, but didn't go up at all this weekend on my mini-vacation, so yay! Started some new workouts that I'm listing as Misc. Hoping to see some things change by mixing it up a bit. Will try and incorporate more yoga also. I think my body has just fell into such a routine that I need to do something new. I'm still running when I can...can't give that up! :)

    Goal for this week: No snacking on candy. I've been horrible about this lately...and I need to stop!

    went to help son start the setup of his trailer today. he has 2 weeks left. he said he should make it. power should, cross out should WILL be on by end of week. he bought me lunch at taco bell. i was so hungry i didn't argue i was thinking of arguing earlier just in case. oh well. i was really going to be good today, since i have only been good maybe a week out of the last 4. just one of those times. oh well life goes on.

    i think i am going to go lay down now. with his trailer not having a air, and it's 90 outside, i sweated my lunch off before i ate it. drank lots of water. at least i do have a toilet out there.

    Okay, so it doesn't look like I'm going to make my 10 lb before the beach in 10 days. I guess it wasn't as much water weight as I thought. But I am recomitted these next ten days and have exercise and food already planned out for today. It is definitely a lot easier to eat healthy when kids are not around. Hopefully I can make it a habit before they get back in 8 days.

    woohoo!!! the wedding drinking didnt completely muck up my juice diet success last week! fabulous!!

    and i have medical news too! I wrote quite a while ago about suffering from headaches and migraines, being so tired, being really low, suffering with low moods after overindulging or drinking. Well I've been having blood tests for the last month to ascertain if anything is up. Well, I have anti-immune thyroid disease which has resulted in an underactive thyroid. Quite common i think? I'm on medication now to prevent the migraines and low moods but at the moment I have declined the thyroid meds. CUrrently I dont feel that bad (as im on the other drugs) and once i'm on the thyroid meds.... thats it i have to take them for life. So until i feel really bad, i'm going to stay off them.

    I'm really relieved we've found something that acounts for how i've been feeling. I genuinely believed this is just how I am supposed to feel, to know that its a medical thing (and unfortunately it is lifelong - although it can be altered) is a relief really.

    So moving on up now, I'm going to continue to look after myself, I am going to drink less (as this results in nearly 3 day hangovers! - i dont drink that much!!) and i'm going to take note of when i am feeling tired and actually go to sleep!

    working from home today . so I best get on otherwise i'm going to get nothing done! going to try and get my work out the way by 3 and then do an hour of my new tae bo dvd (which i've had for two weeks and i've not even touched yet!)

    Hope everyone is good ! theres some good losses coming out here. Me and Amy have lost around the same! yay!!! everyone keep it up, and keep positive, any loss is great (i've not hit a 6 week target yet!!! i'm hoping this is my first one)

    good luck amy on the B210K., very impressive! i can run 5k but cant get on from that!

    Morning.....

    what a day yesterday. bad storm rolled through last night. we were on the patio watching lightening coming down all around us. ate allot too.
    so todays plan is to get my chores done. son is gone for the morning at the trailer. was suppose to get the power done today, guy emailed last night, have to change to sat. his crew is out sick. so DH and i are going to meet him. now DS works from 11 pm to 7 am. he comes home and goes straight to bed. in a nomal work day people stay awake for a bit than go to bed. so why he can't go to meet the guy and stay awake for a few hours is beyond us. this is how he is. he says he only has two days off, well, 90% of the people only have 2 days off. we still do things on work days. but, that's him. DH & i figure if we meet him it gets on a few days faster. he moves out faster. i keep asking if he will be ready to move on the 23/24 he says he hopes. what hopes you will be that was the talk. sorry to ramble. i need to go and enjoy my alone time. and get that spare room vacuumed while he's not in it.

    drinking lots of water today. i am wearing it well today. don't like the look, so need to change it.

    Cathy, I have discovered of lately that if I really want something done, I have to do it myself. I am sure that is how you and your husband feel with your son. I just went through that with my mom. She was moving from my aunt's to my brothers. I knew if I left everything up to her and my brother it would take a zillion years and drag out forever. We were helping with alot so Brad and I just did, did, did. We would over to his house and just start painting, fixing, etc. He wasnt going to do it on his own. Last weekend we got her moved and its done! WOOT! Good luck!

    Amy- I saw your crazy B210K. Gah! I cant even think about that right now. I am only on W2D2 of C25k. Congrats to you for sticking to your running!

    I have been staying within cals and making it to the gym however my food choices suck. So, I am slowly trying to change that. I got out of the habit of breakfast. This week I am incorperating it back in ....

    breakfast this morning: 1/3 of a cup of pumpkin flax granola
    1 tsp honey
    1/2 a serving of vanilla Chobani Greek Yogurt.......yummy!

    We have lots of mini vacations coming up so I am hoping to keep things under control.

    Tonight for exercise....W2D2 C25K and some time on the elliptical.
