Lawd have mercy there are some really close minded negative people on MyFitnessPal. We all have the same goal at the end of the day, to be happy and content with our bodies and ourselves . Why the heck do people have to tear others down bc they don’t agree with their woe or workouts etc... seriously if your that person to just chew someone u don’t know up bc u don’t agree with their choices about THEIR bodies, I think that means you have some inner self work that needs done. Educating others politely in a positive manner is completely different that dogging someone. I mean seriously, maybe people are hangry and sassy as hell but jeez take it out in a journal or something .

Was this supposed to be a positive post? Reads more like something that should be expressed in a journal.20

Sometimes people just need to be roasted before they begin to get a clue.
Plus it's fun.12 -

There are some who post here who really need to be told their choices are wrong. You want me to coddle and "support" someone starving themselves? Or someone displaying clear signs of an eating disorder? Trust me, a lot of those people do not want to hear it. Being blunt with them is sometimes the only way.15 -

Honestly, most times being blunt is counterproductive. Once someone has thier mind made up, most of them aren't going to be changed unless they are ready. It's great to tell them what they need to know, as long as you are being respectful, but bluntness is often seen as an attack. Even if you don't mean it that way, and human nature is to dig in and refuse to budge when that happens. That's why I generally state my point, come up with support or rebuttals if needed, and then walk away. It's not worth my time to argue with an adult who will do what they will do anyhow.9 -
Ironic.
There is actually a pretty important distinction between criticising someone's plan and criticizing a person. I may "poo" on a person's ill-conceived plans but I would never "poo" on a person as your title seems to be encouraging people to do.
In addition if someone is posting their plan in this forum chances are they have a question about it and are seeking input. People respond to those posts with their input. Sometimes the OP may not like the input they recieve...and that is actually okay. Thst said who invited you to openly crisize thr behavior of some members of thr community? I missed the thread where the MFP community asked for criticism of the behavior of their members so I'm not sure what you are responding too exactly but it seems rather uninvited.18 -
I've been here 3 years now ... and most people are pretty nice, and helpful, and there's a lot of good information here.

Dear Posters,
I wanted to offer a brief explanation for the locking of this thread.
The forum guidelines include this item:
2. No Hi-Jacking, Trolling, or Flame-baiting

Please either contribute politely and constructively to a topic, or move on without posting. This includes posts that encourage the drama in a topic to escalate, or posts intended to incite an uproar from the community.
