What's Your Chosen Eating Lifestyle?

I don't want to use the term diet because people tend to associate that with a way you eat just to lose weight. If that's your purpose, cool, but I just mean how do you choose to eat?
Vegan, Keto, Paleo, Standard American Diet, portion control, etc? For me, I am currently following Keto.

I eat a variety of foods at a calorie level appropriate level for my goals, considering nutrition, satiety, and enjoyment.
Curious what your definition of Standard American Diet is since people always use that term but with billions of people in the US from all walks of life I find it hard to imagine much standardization in what people eat...9 -
Flexible, not tracking, intuitive, winging it, the world is my oyster, I sees it, I eats it. I really don't have a name for it.11

Portion control. Everything weighed and logged. No foods excluded.11

I ate whatever I wanted. Just had to remain at a calorie deficit to lose weight, however now I changed that an eat more healthy foods and almost cut out "junk" foods entirely. (occasionally I'll have a little something tho)3

@WinoGelato I personally am not sure how to define it but I know some use the term so i just included it in the liost. My assumption is it's the low fat high carb approach that's been ingrained into us since the 70s.7

I eat however I feel like eating that day. This is something I have a hard time expressing to people.
I bought a chocolate bar the other day and my friend says "aren't you on a diet?". I honestly didn't know how to answer that. "Yes, but no? Maybe. How do you define a diet?" lol
I'll be eating this way the rest of my life, just a little bit less right now.8 -
Well-rounded, whole foods, and sensible?
(High cardio; high carb)2 -
I don't do diets with names.... I think I'm capable of educating, and knowing myself enough to work out what a "healthy" diet for me is. I don't need someone else's rules imposed on to me.10

SAD all the way baby!4

Flexitarian with a little foodie mixed in. Mostly plant based, but if the butternut squash mac and cheese, shrimp and grits, or chocolate cheesecake is calling me then I'm there with my food scale.5

Primarily keto...with a certain degree of "I have a super low carb level for the day so that piece of non dark chocolate or cup of grapes isn't going to kill me".3

Eat until full. Drink until tipsy.19

Keto is my lifestyle change. Struggling a bit with hitting my macros correctly but the weight is coming off slowly and my brain fog is gone.5

Most of these lifestyle names I never heard until I came on this site. Standard American Diet would be awkward to include in the list, because there are many non-Americans on this site, including myself. We'd obviously have completely different standards of "normal".
So my own choice would be "portion control" and "Calorie Deficit" for the way I'm living at the moment.5 -
Most of the food I eat are the ones that are the highest in certain nutrients. I do eat fast food very seldom. I try to cut out grains and added sugars except on trips or holidays. It is low to moderate carbs if it has a name.1

Tequila and tacos.15

Moderation diet I guess?
I eat meat, bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, vegetables, fruits, beans, lentils, canned foods, frozen foods, casseroles, pizza, tacos, burgers, soups, stews, eggs, butter, cheese, yogurt, popcorn, desserts.
I do not eat a very low fat diet. I do not eat a super high protein diet. I eat a moderate amount of carbs generally.
I don't eat much seafood. I never eat tofu. I avoid artificial sweeteners.
I drink water or unsweetened tea mostly.6
