I’ve been doing pretty well but I’m working out all the time with my team and been super hungry. But today I over ate by 1000 calories which was just 2066 but still not my goal. Mad because of all the work I’ve put into it and my body will react tomorrow and be bloated and gain a few pounds. Yay:(

You only eat 1100 cals a day? Sure you are not under eating. As far as 1000 calories, fat gain won't be all 1000 calories. The body will burn some off as heat, some gets wasted in well waste, some may get stores as muscle glycogen. I hope this helps. I know a few things, but not as much as many here.

You will feel like I feel for the past few days. Bloated, puffy, 4 lbs heavier. It will pass.

All this is the wrong approach. If 2066 is 1000 over your goal, then your goal is wrong. If you're super hungry, you're not doing pretty well, you're doing it wrong. It takes 3500 calories over maintenace to gain a pound of fat. Getting mad at yourself for eating when you're hungry, is not very nice. Not informing yourself, and not eating properly, that you can get mad about, but that's also something you can fix really easily.

Why is your goal so low? No wonder you've needed to eat more...

It happens. Log it and move on. One bad day doesn't ruin everything you've done.

    This.

And don't eat below 1200 cals per day. That's not reasonable.

OP is massively under eating, the possiblilty of puffy fingers are the least of their problems...

If you have puffy fingers from a day of overeating (which ends up being not even a veey high number from calories) I would recommend calling a doctor. That's a lot of fluid retention for such a little intake.

She never said how tall, old, or whatever.. you are just assuming she is massively undereating? There are countless women on here that say they eat 1000-1200 Calories. Most of them are really small.

In some cases that may be true but a lot of them are undereating... plus OP exercises a lot, so it's already unlikely they only need 1000 cals per day regardless of age or size.

1000 is undereating for most people except the extreme outlier. Add in working out hard and yes it's massively undereating. Malnutrition is not cool.

People are confused what the woo is for. Is it for "woo, that's great!" or "woo, that's a crock of shizzle!"? Idk so I don't use it.

OP, I overeat a lot these days. I log it, move on, and try stay at my calorie goal the next day.

When I'm very restrictive on my diet (undereating and working out a lot), I have days where I eat uncontrollably. Best thing I did for myself was to let go of the idea that I needed to be so strict. Eat more on a daily basis, you will still be able to lose weight, and feel less hungry, and it will be more manageable in the long run.

What has your weight been doing since you started this? How much have you lost and over what period of time?
