Had our airfyer for a few weeks now just wondered what receipes you guys have looking for quick & easy recipes

I got an air fryer for my birthday a few weeks ago and love it. Chicken wings and drumsticks taste deep fried. Dredge in a little potato starch and then air fry at 200C for 25 minutes. Really crispy skin.
Getting a deep fried crispness for french fried potatoes has been a bit more work. At present we get good results by cutting into fries, soaking in water for 30 minutes to reduce starch content, microwave 4 minutes, dry, toss in oil and a tablespoon of potato starch, air fry for 20 minutes on highest temperature. We are still experimenting with excluding one step at a time to discover which ones are crucial for getting a really crispy result.

Woah! That’s a lot of work for potatoes, LOL. Wouldn’t the oven be more efficient?0 -
We really like when I have done chicken breasts & pork loin with only a little seasoned salt. So moist!0

Potatoes come out way crispier in the air fryer than the oven. We skipped the soaking last night and the result was a little less crisp. I think the microwave step can be easily skipped if we just air fry longer. Will try that next time.1 -
I make a lot of the things in the air fryer. Besides replicating deep fried food at high temperature it is great for roasting vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli green beans. Just toss in olive and salt and bung it in at 150C. Because it is more energy efficient than a big oven I use it for baking lasagna, etc. I just take out the basket to fit a small lasagna tray into it.3

I did roast beef and roast potatoes for the first time in the air fryer. The timings are all wrong for the recipe below but the idea is great. Use a meat probe thermometer for timing the beef. Boil the potatoes for 2 minutes, not 20 before roasting, and just put them under the beef after tossing in fat. When the beef is done, let it rest in tin foil for 15 minutes while you finish the potatoes at the highest temperature. I've included a link that is useful for timing roast beef if you have a thermometer.

I love to put frozen brussel sprouts with a balsamic glaze, olive oil and S&P in my airfryer and "roast" them. So yummy!
