20lbs weight loss (slow and steady) - who’s up for the challenge?

Options
I’ve always been fit - never had to worry too much about what I eat. But lately (and getting closer to that 30 year mark) the weights seem to be piling up no matter how much time I spend at the gym or how clean my meals are.
So, I’ve decided that alone I might be able loose this weight fast but with support and motivation, I will be able to loose it and keep it that way.
Current Weight: 150 goal: 128-30 (1lb a week).

I'm up for the challenge!!!! I'm a BIT (and by "bit"...I mean VERY) heavier than you...with a "bit" more to lose...but I'm committed to making/showing/keeping my progress in the upward direction. This is my 2nd time around on MFP...and the first time I lost 43 pounds in 3 months...and kept the weight off for over a year. That was 4 years ago. Can you imagine the shenanigans that's been going on between me and food since then? Lol.... I'm going to add you. Hopefully we can help motivate each other. :)

Make sure you are logging your food. Eating clean is not guarantee, you can overeat clean foods just as easily as junk.

I think these two links are extremely helpful and can help you get the most out of MFP:

    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1

    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.
