Waz up?! I'm new on here...but my goal is to get my High School Six/Eight Pack & Sports Endurance Back! They say age is undefeated, but I'm trying to prove them wrong!0

How should I do it? Should I remind her via email now so she has time to wonder what's up or should I just surprise her at the airport and then demand my payday
At the airport. Yeah, it's a bit snarky, but that was so over the top that a bit of snark is well deserved. Well done and totally feel your pain. I'm dreading seeing my stepmother for similar reasons.

I just bought a beige trench coat on sale for just £2 which is too small for me but I'm determined to fit into it in time for Autumn.4

Bitterness alert:
In about a month and a half I'm going to meet up with my mom for a holiday. We haven't seen each other in 2.5 years. My mom is vain and rich (from a business she started after I'd already moved out so I didn't grow up rich). She spends endless hours talking about all the men who she says tell her how beautiful they find her. In comparison, she could never stop herself from nitpicking my appearance since I was a child, even before I became heavy (I used to be thin enough, just not pretty enough; for example she used to call me 'big ears little girl'. I mean, it could be a lot worse but still).
She once offered me money to lose 50 pounds. I was in my mid-30s when she did this—it's not like I was her ward at the time or something. It was pretty insulting. On the other hand, I'm 1 pound away from 50 lost at the moment and I'm thinking of reminding her of her offer. I haven't lost the weight for her, but I could use the extra cash right now. How should I do it? Should I remind her via email now so she has time to wonder what's up or should I just surprise her at the airport and then demand my payday
Oh, Honey...
My Grandmother was exactly the same... she thought she could pay me to be thinner, to not bite my nails, whatever. *sigh*
I would just surprise her and demand your pay-day. Go for it!
Hugs!3 -
My birthday in two months! I want to be thin for once during my birthday5
-
Getting back into shape and losing weight so I can keep up with my newborn for many more years to come. I’m 43. I’ve had more energy since I started this (five days so far).7

1. 1.6 more pounds and I'll be 20 pounds down!
2. 5.6 more pounds and I'll be at pre pregnancy weight! Hoping to achieve this by the end of March!3 -
I want to regularise my eating. A lot of "life" happened with me in the last 6 months. I just want to get back on track.
Minigoal is "I will stay within my calorie goal this week".

Go to the gym tonight.3
-
Right now my mini goals are to lose 5lbs before my birthday at the very end of the month and to go to the gym 5 times a week until then as well!3
-
My mini goal is be underweight to ride a zipline which is about 250 which I'm moving closer to this summer I will hit that.5
-
Mini goal right now is to get under 154lbs. Current weigh in this morning is 155.2 so getting there!!4
-
All of these goals everyone else has seem so far away for me. My goal right now is to not give up - just take it day by day and keep logging. Not matter what.
I'm about to go down a size - so that is motivating me, but my patience is not what it should be.19 -
I would like to get to 188 (20 lb loss from January 7th) by the end of March. I am 192 right now so it might be a stretch. but WHEN I hit it I am going to get acrylic nails. and then when I hit 178 (30 lb. loss) I want to go crazy at PINK/Victoria's secret (BF works in the distribution center and gets 40% off)... I like to pamper myself but haven't really been doing it lately for whatever reason.6
-
I would like to be able to run 5k again. I know I can reach that pretty fast, so far I am at 3k. Most I did was 10k 3 years ago, and the first ever time I started running I was kaputt after like 800 m. So yes... been there, will be again.
Another mini-goal (which actually is huge for me) would be to go without smoking for 5 days. I will do that when I reach the 5k mentioned above. Fingers crossed.9 -
Right now, to get my hip measurements back to where they were before the stress and anxiety of a bad breakup happened. Just a half inch more and get my appetite back up to speed as well then onto full booty gains3
-
I would like to not feel like garbage every day and feel good.13

I'm kind of reframed my goals in terms of running and biking, which I'm becoming quite enthusiastic about. So my current weight loss goal is to get down to about 9% BF, which would probably mean weight of about 82kg (180lbs), from the current weight that fluctuates around 92kg, but my running goals, hopefully achievable with the help of the above weight goal are far more exciting, and include things such as:
- An under 50m 10k some time during this year
- A 15k race by end of spring
- Half a marathon by end of summer
- 30k race by end of this year
- Well, I'll shut up now, but it's clear where it's going regarding the next year.
- A 70k bike race I've signed up for towards the end of April.2 -
Going to my doctor's appointment in May and hearing him tell me i wont have to go on insulin... i dont think he is going to expect whats coming!15
-
My mini goal:
I've lost nearly half all of the 20 I'd regained from health issues. So I'm only 10lbs away from my red leather jacket (yay!).
Also I have a pair of embroidered/sparkle pants I want to wear again. I'm stalking them. I will surprise them one day and they will be mine again! I may not be able to wear them before my trip (though you better believe I will still try to tame the pants dragon, I expect to fail.... but no plan survives first contact with the enemy)... but they will be mine again.

My mini goal is to hit 5 lbs down this week. I am hoping that the extra work I did over the weekend will help.4
-
My mini goal is to fit into my size 10 jeans by May for my Trip to visit some friends in New York4
-
Getting down to below 15% bodyfat1
-
My first mini goal was to be down 10% by end of March, which I achieved as of this morning. The next probably won’t happen for about three months but in the meantime I’m determined to never go above the landmark number I just passed.3
-
Burn 400 at least in exercise every day till I go travelling on march 25!4
-
So I'm officially at 20% body fat, down from 21.5.
It might not sound like a lot but it made me really happy.6 -
First goal is to simultaneously hit 191 and be lighter than my mom (she's shorter so it looks like more but goddamnit realizing I was bigger was a bad time.) It's also 10% off my highest weight so three birds one stone.
Larger goal is to be down 50lbs by October when my Big is getting married. I hated what I looked like in the photos of my last time as a bridesmaid so here's to not hating these!7 -
New mini goal is to get back up to being able to run a 5K by my birthday, April 24th. Also would like to be under 118 by then (about 3 lbs)0
-
Getting into the overweight, then normal range, and being out of the obese category for the rest of my life.15
-
Goal is to finally getting rid of the jeans I am wearing right now (and which I really don't like but have to keep wearing because there isn't so much around that fits).
Another one is to fit into all those basically new bras I bought last year. They fit were a bit small when I got them but I kept them because it was just about 2 or 3 kilos and "I'll lose that weight soon". I gained those 2 kilos instead. Now "soon" has to be now as I am running out of options!5
