I just started a couple days ago!! The app is so helpful! Especially the percentages it gives you of your daily intake. Tht way you can keep it in recommended ranges! I’m A Keto newb so I don’t know a whole lot but if I had to track all this on my own I wouldn’t have lasted this long! Lol2

Started Oct 2014. Tracking mainly weight each morning. Long term health issues started to resolve within first 30 days (huge drop in pain levels) and today health continues to improve.
Gained most of my Keto/LCHF Way Of Eating skills right here at:

You do have to request to join this group but at a click of a button you can remove yourself at any time you wish.
Nothing magical because it is just human biology but it sure can seem like magic until one understands why it works so well for so many people on MFP. Getting off of the high carb/high fat WOE gave me a fit the first several weeks when I cut carbs to just under 50 grams daily. Then the carb cravings just quickly faded and has not returned but I know my addiction will return if I start high carbing again. Because my fuel gauge went back to working now I just eat until I get full without any impulse to binge like when I was eating high carbs. I just replaced most of my carbs with fats and protein stayed about the same as on the SAD WOE.
I did it for pain management on a hunch cutting out added sugar and all forms of all grains would save me from dangerous pain meds. It worked out in my case going on 4 years now. At 67 I never see myself going back to the Standard American Diet.
It may not be for others but it has no negative side effects that I have found over these years so give it a shot for 90 days then decide to try it for another 90 days or not if you wish.3 -
Gale, thanks for sharing your experience! Glad to hear it's been so beneficial for you. TY for the definitely link to that community - I signed up. I've been doing intermittent fasting one day a week for about 2 months and I'm ready to make the step into more full Keto buy it. I'm naturally fairly low carb person but I'm trying to track it more consistently on MPF to make sure I'm really doing as little as I think I do.0

glgcam - thanks for sharing your experience! So glad to hear it's been so helpful for you. I think I have a slight advantage in that I am gluten intolerant and have been gluten free since 2004 so reducing carbs might not be quite as challenging... I hope! LOL1
