Pink - it's between Trace and Small 15 --- I had gotten up to Moderate 40 but went back down. I think I may be eating too much vegetables not enough fat... ?0 -
If you're keeping your carbs below 20grams, you're in ketosis. If you've got body fat to lose, you don't need to increase your fat intake. Trust the process, keep calm and keto on. I know it's tempting to pee on a stick and have it tell you that you're doing great, but try to find other ways to know you're doing great! How do you feel? How do your clothes fit? This is just my experience with Keto, been following this way of life for 2 years. I know it's lots to take in at first, but carbs below 20 grams is really the only thing. Keep up the good work!!6

so how much is too much vegetable wise and how much fat are you eating? keto is 60% or more of your calories in fat. 50g net or less of carbs and the rest protein.1 -
I would strongly caution against fat bombs if weight loss is your goal and you're getting adequate calories. They're too calorie sense and may hinder your goal. Is your problem that you're not seeing what you want on the stick or that you're not losing weight? The stick is irrelevant if you're enjoying the diet and losing weight, that's your goal after all. You could be in deep ketosis and register mild. It doesn't matter either way even if you're not in full ketosis unless you need the ketones in particular to manage a health condition. If you're not losing weight I would look into the accuracy of your logging. If your problem is that you're not seeing results fast enough, know that weight loss takes time so check if your expectations are realistic.5

The strips are fairly inaccurate. If you dont have a blood ketone meter, just keep chugging. It honestly doesnt matter if you are actually in ketosis or not.5

As others have said, low carbs will put you in ketosis. If you add more dietary fat all that may happen is that you use more dietary fat rather than body fat for your energy.
If you need high ketones (for medical reasons) you could add MCT oil to your diet, or even exogenous ketones. If you are eating very low carb though, you are most likely in ketosis even if the purine strips don't show it. I rarely test above trace, and am often negative even when I gave had almost no carbs in a day.1 -
