The snack lovers treat

Hi all.
Just a quick one for you. I’m really into my home made protein balls and I have been trying to think of some ideas that don’t ALWAYS include peanut butter. Try these with a scoop of your favourite protein powder.
2 cups of rolled oats
2 large bananas (mashed)
A hanfull of choc chips
A handful of sultanas
Bake on 200 for 20 minutes.
The results- a delicious low calorie snack for pre, post and during workout if needed.

Because it will kill you if the food detects that you're not a lifter.8 -

Haha not only for weight lifters, but being one, and a lover of food- these bites go hand in hand.0

OP has edited to add protein so comment no longer applies0

I wrote this in a hurry. Note to self- scrutinise before posting. . .
Maybe I should call them energy balls rather than protein balls. I took the peanut butter out because I seem to eat it a lot.
You could jazz these up and add protein powder. . . In fact, I’m going to do just that now. Hold tight, I’m going
To make a batch.

lmao OP. Yeah that's an energy ball. A carb ball if you will. I'd eat it if I didn't have poverty macros.0

Eek, I don’t follow regimented guidelines with my diet anymore. I’ve had a slight obsession in the past and find that these days if I fancy a bit of carb, I’ll have it. Then run or lift it off1 -
I'm so lazy I'd just turn it all into a smoothie and call it a day, haha3

The op said to mix protein powder?
Sounds good0 -

Sorry all, I edited the post, I just tried the recipe with a scoop of protein powder and I found it to be a little dry so I added an extra 1/2 a banana. A little too good to be honest. Off to the gym I go0

Ohhh those also sound awesome! Have you got a recipe for the waffles you can share? These were great for my workout today. They are in the cupboard now- out of sight out of mind0 -

I just use the Kodiak mix substitute egg and milk instead of water.. Make a bunch and freeze and toast as needed, topping with the peanut or almond butter, banana, and a tablespoon or two of chocolate chips... It hits the spot every time B4 lifting and doesn't make me feel too full or anything either. But I am gonna make your recipe too!!1 -
@marlihan1 - your pic is inspirational! How did you do it?
