Recommendations for a good home bathroom scale

Every scale I buy goes wonky in just a few months it seems. I bought this last one at Bed Bath and Beyond and it worked well until I had to move it to clean. From then on- ugh! One day I'll weigh one thing and the next day it says I'm 5 or more pounds lighter (tempted to take it lol). Or it goes way up!
Can anyone suggest a good bathroom scale? Thanks!

I like the one my mom bought me from weight watchers (I asked for it, she didn't just buy it out the blue). I've had it for about 4 years and the battery hasn't even needed changing yet.

That looks similar to one I've stopped using since getting a wifi one.
It may act like mine in that it remembers your last weight and will display that if your weight has not changed by much. So if my weight hadn't changed by about 3/4 of a lb, I got the previous weight displayed. I would stand on it with one foot to reset it, then get on with both to get that days weight.0 -
I got this one about a month ago:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Etekcity-Digital-Body-Weight-Bathroom-Scale-with-Step-On-Technology-400-Pounds-Body-Tape-Measure-Included-Elegant-Black/198977507
And when I weigh myself I always do it three separate times to take an average, and I'd say 75% of the time it reads the same number all three times or is only different by about .2 pounds, so it is pretty consistent! I really like it and it is very inexpensive compared to a lot of the scales out there.1 -
Is there a good scale that goes to 400 pounds? I don't weigh that much but I like those scales the best because I'm a heavy girl. How about one that also reads BMI and other info?1

None will "read" BMI. BMI is just height and weight. I think you mean BF%. They exist but are pretty unreliable. I have a Withings (Now Nokia) that I got a little more than a year ago from a clearance bin. It does BF% and HR and is wifi so I don't have to type in anything. But Nokia may be killing that division so no idea what the future for it is.
I'm kinda against the trend here in that I like the BF% reading. I have no idea if the number is correct, but it sure as hell has gone down.2 -
I have a different WW scale than was posted above and it also hasn't needed new batteries yet in the several years I've had it. I would buy one again and would recommend it. Mine has 4 different profiles you can set and measures weight, body water %, bone density %, body fat % & lbs. of body fat, and calculates BMI. I know the body fat won't be 100% accurate but it's a nice guideline to go by, and nice to see that # trending downward. I was not aware of the weighing issue that Tacklewasher mentioned, so I'm going to keep an eye on that in the future, because I have noticed some days I weigh the exact same, which has always seemed odd/unlikely.1

I got a new scale a couple of weeks ago. It is a Renpho smart scale. So far I really like it and it syncs with my apps. It also calibrates immediately which my last scale did not.1

I don't think there's a whole lot of difference between them for the most part. Compare digital to digital and analog to analog. Beyond that, get the one that has features you want and goes up to an appropriate weight.
I don't think body fat measurements are reliable at all, but simple weight is pretty basic and most scales are good enough to measure progress, even if there is a slight margin of error regarding the actual number.0
