Looking for fun healthy ways to loss weight

Any ideals I’ve got a over active thyroid and in need of help

Not particularly fun but a calorie deficit is what you need, set a rate of loss, review after 4-6 weeks and adjust as necessary based on real world results (weight trend)2

If you have an overactive thyroid I'd have thought weight loss would be a given automatically....
but if its not, you need to reduce your calorie intake - not fun but it works.2 -
Deficit is a must but you can also find an activity that you enjoy that get you moving. Just be aware that sometimes you won't like it when you start. For me it was running, I hated it and now love it. Walking, running, hiking working out all come to mind. For me my fun game I did while walking was Ingress.com1

Cut out the bad fats, sugars, and most dairy and introduce the good fats, carbs and lean proteins at a caloric intake that will create a caloric deficit. You will see the weight shed off all by itself. Also drink plenty of water, plenty of online calculators that will aid you in this. Also, consistency is key, try not to overdue your weekly cheat meal as well.9

Cut out the bad fats, sugars, and most dairy and introduce the good fats, carbs and lean proteins at a caloric intake that will create a caloric deficit. You will see the weight shed off all by itself. Also drink plenty of water, plenty of online calculators that will aid you in this. Also, consistency is key, try not to overdue your weekly cheat meal as well.
Most of us gain because we're eating too much food as a whole, there's absolutely no need to over-complicate it by cutting out foods you enjoy, it's called moderation, then you don't need a weekly cheat meal.2 -
Weight loss is going to be more diet related than anything. Exercise and activity help to increase your energy expenditure, but you can be very active and not lose a pound if you're eating maintenance calories.
Most of my exercise is also recreational activity/hobby. I mostly cycle, but also enjoy rock climbing and hiking as well. I also lift weights a couple days per week.0 -

You are correct, still not "healthy" though! If you continue to eat the garbage you will tend to overeat, then ultimately fail!6 -
There is always the mathematically correct "eat anything it's the calorie deficit that results in weight loss". I know that it is much easier for me to eat healthy foods. I never dreamed that I would ever eat as much produce as I do now. I don't even need to weigh or count to maintain. The food part is easy now. The beer, wine and scotch is what derails me now.2

You completely missed the point, just because you consider something garbage doesn't mean it can't be eaten in moderation as part of a balanced overall healthy diet. All or nothing mentality is what causes a lot of people to fail at long term weight loss/maintenance and why so many people end up yo-yoing.
Dairy for example, isn't devoid of nutrition it's a good source of protein, calcium, vitamin D and other vitamins & minerals.
Do you think that what I said means that I only enjoy eating junk food and that it makes up 100% of my diet? I enjoy a wide variety of foods and the majority is lean protein, fruit and veg, but demonising the bar of chocolate I have occasionally isn't a healthy mindset.

No-one is recommending "eat anything" without taking nutrition into consideration, just that it's not necessary to cut out entire food groups or make sudden drastic changes. Weight loss in itself improves health for a lot of people, and they are far more likely to form better habits by making small changes and building more and more as they go.1 -
