hello, so i want to start lossing weight again and i was wondering, what part of this food should i avoid eating? i've heard that Lebanese food are really healthy to eat such as kabab, tikka and roasted chicken, so i started eating them everyday but they include alot of things such as hammus, small amount of french fries and lots of bread and a few other things, so what should i avoid the most out of this diet? this is the only food that keeps me away from fast food,

ill start exercising soon for 30 minuts a day on my treadmill and start eating twice a day like i used too and drink only water 4-6 bottles daily

which of these should i avoid?

    The tin foil? :D

If you want to reduce your calories, the most calorific item in that picture is probably the hummus (I assume it's hummus?). You could skip the fries and bread, too, if you wanted.

Ultimately, though, you can eat anything you want as long as it fits within your daily calories. Does that meal do that?

im not sure can you provide me with in app for that? any links? the chicken is even half just so i dont feel full i try to eat as little as possible back then i used to eat like 1 meal a day and i lost so much weight it was amazing but that days are gone and gained alot back

As others have said, just stay within your calories and you'll be fine. That said, those fries don't look particularly tasty or well cooked, so you could probably leave those off and not miss out of anything.

I don't know that I'd eat fries AND hummus with bread all in one meal, is this all one meal? Are you an IF eater, so you eat most of your food in one meal? I dont do IF, so I could see eating this throughout the day; Hummus and bread for breakfast, pizza and salad for lunch, and chicken with fries for dinner (with some snacks). No food has to be off-limits, you just need to figure out how you make it fit in your calorie allowance.

ETA: This website/app is literally designed to be able to track your calories, just log everything you eat and see if you need to make any adjustments.

Weight loss is because you have a calorie deficit (eating less than you burn) not type of food.
Track your calories. Figure out what you are eating, how much and log it in the food diary here.
If the meal fits your calorie deficit goal that Myfitnesspal gave you for weight loss then you can eat it and lose weight.

For health and satisfaction you would look at nutrients.
Most people find protein, fats, and fiber help them feel satisfied. If the foods you eat are not meeting those goals you may feel less satisfied and want to change types of food. Vegetables are a great nutritious way to bulk up your meals without adding a lot of calories.

For that particular meal if it was me I'd probably replace the bread or fries with more vegetables.

My suggestion would be to turn that one meal into two. Save half for later. It looks delicious though, and now I'm hungry!

That isn't Lebanese food. It's pizza and chips with loads of other proccessed food.

Where are the veggies and grilled meats, fish and piles of fruits?

That piddly amount of salad wouldn't feed me as a snack.

The fries and the hummus have the most calories in that picture. Eat them in small amounts. Add more vegetables.

What foods help you stay full better for the least calories? Eat more of them. What foods leave you hungry more often? Eat less of them. It's your choice if you wish to avoid foods, but you can eat anything if you have it in calorie appropriate portions or less often.

For example, I love boiled freekeh. It keeps me full and it's not very high in calories. It's great with grilled chicken or as a soup. That's why I eat it whenever I want. On the other hand, fried kibbeh doesn't fill me up and is pretty high in calories so I have it less often, mostly on special occasions.

If the picture above was one meal, I would have some chicken, only one piece of bread (the one with the hot sauce), the grilled onion, the tomatoes, and pickles, skip the hummus as I can have it for breakfast and no need to have it with an already hearty meal, and taste one fry - if I really like it I will have a few depending on how many calories I have for the meal, if it's subpar I would skip the fries and have some better ones on a day I don't feel like eating bread with that meal. I would also add an onion and sumac salad because it goes well with grilled chicken.

That's just how I would do it. I can eat everything, but not everything at once. I just eat what I want most and if I have calories left for that meal I decide if I want to add other things.

I know it's off topic but I had an amazing fasolia bean soup in a Lebanese restaurant a few years back.

I've made my own version of it ever since. Worth trying.
