Under 1200?

So to lose weight you have to burn cut 500 too 1000 calories from your diet. My maintance weight is 1500 so how do I cut/burn enough calories but still have at least 1200 per day like you're supposed too?

    You don't HAVE to cut 500-1000 to lose weight, you could cut 1 calorie from maintenance and still lose weight, you just lose it a lot slower.

    If you maintain on 1,500 then you have to accept that to lose weight safely you can "only" cut 300 calories (I say "only" because a deficit of 300 calories is pretty substantial for someone who maintains on 1500 calories), for about .5lb per week loss
