You are correct! My Bad! I mistook who the OP was
That happens to me a lot. Sometimes I catch it after typing a response about trying to be low-carb and vegan at the same time, then I realize the low-carb person wasn't the same as the vegan OP.1 -
If Oprah can eat Bread & loose weght than so can I... lol3

For all of you that are holding onto your bread for dear life, that's fine with me. For all else:

From their website: At Naturally Savvy, our main focus is on eating organic, whole foods and learning how to integrate nutrition into our everyday living. We also love to discuss detoxification (how to detox), enemas (how to enema), nutritional supplements (which brands do we recommend), low blood sugar (also known as hypoglycemia), and our all time favorite topic: digestion.
Since two of our founders and several of our writers are holistic nutritionists, you can imagine how much we love to eat!
. . . at which point I quietly closed the site and backed slowly away.14 -
Celebrities get caught up in all kinds of nutty diets and fads too. There are probably plenty who eat normally and just watch calories but that wouldn't make good headlines. A lot of people want there to be a gimmick.1

Yeah, not that I have an issue with eating bread, but I really don't think she is the best person for diet advice.1 -

From actual reputable sources, instead of a site dedicated to eating organic.

I made this bread Saturday. It containts yeast, organic bread flour, water, and salt. I am marching towards my death like anyone else...one day at a time.16 -
Why do thee famous skinny ninnies avoid bread? What's wrong with it? Can't you eat bread every day as long as you eat within your calorie allowance?
Celebrities get paid a lot of money to endorse a lot of bogus products/diet plans. Because the advertising industry knows that people foolishly put their trust in what celebrities say, as if they're smarter or more educated than the non-famous people who buy their garbage.
All a 'celebrity endorsement' shows is that they're making a lot of money to push a product. Nothing more.2 -
(Not a celebrity). I tend to limit the amount of bread (and other delicious baked goods love) purely because sometimes I get more bang for my calories by eating other things. I’m also currently trying to hit certain macros and trying to get bread to fit doesn’t work (I don’t plan to maintain this, and I suck at it anyway, but it’s an interesting experiment in mindfully choosing foods. Not just cramming in things because they fit my calories). Some celebs may feel the same. Often times actors are training (and eating) for certain roles and need to eat to cut, and it’s my understanding that bread doesn’t fit into that kinda thing. They may only eat like that for that role, but eat more carbs when the don’t have to look like superheroes. Or they’re caught up in woo like a lot of people are (one only has to look at Gwenneth Paltrow to know that celebs aren’t immune to woo).0

I don’t know what celebrities are eating, but I try to avoid bread.
I try not to have it in the house as I have zero self control where bread is concerned! I love it. If bread is in the cupboard I eat whole loaf, yum!
If it’s not there I don’t want it and I don’t eat it. So I can totally understand the decision not to eat bread.
Bread is the only food that I feel that way about.0
