How do I take in more healthy fat?

Everyday I fall short on fulfilling my fat requirements! I am trying so hard to stay away from fatty foods that I am not getting enough. Can you help me with some ideas? Thanks.

I've read a lot lately that stated that saturate fat is NOT as bad as once thought. I eat eggs scrambled in REAL butter every morning AND full fat cheese. (But I aim for a pretty high NET calorie count).

Olive oil is a great source. You can also try adding in avocados or nuts into your meals. As the above poster said, fatty fish is a good source too.

    I love avocado!
Full fat greek yogurt is probably good too.... just make sure it has more protein than sugar.

I take omega-3 supplements, only because I know I won't get enough from the foods I eat everyday. I'm currently living under my parent's preferences for food :p

Almonds, walnuts, olive oil, avocado, salmon, sunflower seeds, flax seed, that's all I can think of right now, but there's a lot more I'm sure.

    A McDonalds Milkshake doesn't count!

Have some nuts with your sandwiches, sautee or bake your protein in olive oil, eat avocado instead of mayonnaise, eat fish...

The brand smart balance has lots of healthy fats. I buy smart balance butter and peanut butter but they carry more products.

Coconut oil! It's great to cook with and doesn't go to trans fat like Olive Oil does when it's overheated.

Recently, I switched to only healthy fats: Walnuts, organic whole milk (CLA is fabulous), coconut oil, avocados, olive oil and almond butter. Also, I use organic butter now as well.

My nails have never been stronger, my hair is shiny, and my skin is SO much better than it was! I'm sure it's the lower sugar, more veg, and protein as well as the healthier fat - but WOW.

Flaxseed oil, olive oil (cook with it), avocado, (eat them plain or use them in place of mayo), peanut butter, almond butter (VERY good on a slice of post, which makes a GREAT post workout snack), handful of almonds mid day, sunflower seeds, fish, fish, fish!

    Happy healthy eating!
