Hey ladies!! I’m 42 and am looking to lose at most 50 lbs, but a realistic goal is to just lose the fat and get fit. No body building for me! Lol I’m super busy and am looking for support to get my butt in the gym and use that membership I’ve been paying for! Hahaha!

Welcome and all the best
And don't knock the body building/strength training because it is essential for us as we age to do this to retain bone and muscle mass.
I started at 42 with the aim of losing 20lbs and have been in maintenance now for almost 5 years - I've never been fitter or leaner in my life If I can do it, anyone can

I had a problem with night time snacking too - budget your cals so you have 100-150 cals for a much longed for snack. I also find sipping on water most of the evening helps or keeping busy.
@stpetenative how much do you need to lose and how much are you aiming for per week? I ask because eating at 1300 might not be necessary. I lost eating 1700-1800 gross cals/0.5lb a week/lightly active/5ft 2. If you exercise you can eat back a portion of those exercise calories too.1 -
Hello Ladies I am 46 and looking to loose 20-25 lbs and need some friends like me to help me along the way. I also like my night time snacks Does anyone know what the proper amount of Calories / Protein / Fat / Carbs we should be set at for weight loss? I currently have mine set at 1200 then the 45/35/25 (Carb/protein/fat).1

Your macros sound fine, I just left mine at the pre set MFP ones or higher fat, I like at least 30% fat.
for 20-25lbs 0.5lb to 1lb loss per week is what you should be aim for because we lose muscle along with the fat and more so if our calorie deficit is too high/aggressive.0
