Hi,
I,ve recently got the app libra and I am tracking my weight daily. Any tips on how to use it. I,ve entered my weight, goals and my weigh ins since January . Reading the statistics I'm slightly confused , maybe there're a better weight trending app?
Any help appreciated .

So at the moment my lbs/week is saying week: + 0.29 so on average this week I've put on 0.29 lbs. Three months is - 1.54lbs so does mean three months ago I was losing on average 1.54lbs a week?
With the kcal/day I haven't seen anything on the app where it tells me how many calories I should be eating. It's says this week +143 so this means I've over eaten by 143 cals a day this week? Three months says -769 so does this mean I was eating -769 cals less a day ( but less then what? ) .

lbs per week is based on your recent data (if default settings are applied then that's from the last 7 days)
The 3 months is what you've lost or gained on average per week over the longer period
The cal/day is telling you how many you are eating vs your maintenance based on the loss/gain you're recording.
So if you're currently showing as +143 that mean your real world results are showing that you're eating a little over maintenance. It's a good way of checking how accurate your logging is.
So then the average over 3 months is that you were eating 769 calories less than maintenance.
It calculates this on the basis that 3500 calories is equivalent to 1lb of fat. So over those 3 months when you were averaging a 1.54lb loss per week thats 3500 (Cals) x 1.54 (lbs) = 5390 (Calorie Deficit for the week) / 7 (days) = 770 calories daily deficit.
The most important thing to pay attention to is which way your trend line is pointing, if it's down you're on track to lose weight, level is maintenance and upward is gaining weight. If you retain a lot of water around your TOM, then it may be slightly out.
What are your stats/goal and how accurate is your food logging (weighing/choosing correct database entries, etc)?
