This is my current situation & im so annoyed!! Simply because I want lower numbers on the actual scale. I’m currently doing strength training with my trainer but I want to overdose on cardio because I know that will make a change in the scale!!

This isn't unheard of, scale weight can be influenced by a number of things beyond fat loss. If you've been eating at a deficit it's very possible you've lost fat but fluctuations in water retention between weighing events is masking any of this fat loss from showing on the scale, particularly if you've recently started or increased exercise which can cause muscles to retain glycogen after being worked.

Over what time period has this occurred?

my weight will apparently stay same for a month+ at a time, then "woosh" down 3-4lbs almost overnight... I apparently stayed almost same weight january to march, but dropped a dress size

My clothes started fitting looser before anything happened on the scale.

It sounds like you are slowly recomping - eating at maintenance, losing fat, gaining muscle

I find that measuring is much more accurate than the scale. I have only lost around 10 pounds over the last year, but dropped from a size 16 to a 12, extra large down to large and even medium. I have lost inches overall.

when i started i lost over 60 pounds before i went down a size, So no there. But if your like new me, Lower sodium in my diet causes me to lean right out. Since your dieting your likely intaking less sodium naturally. Likely one of multiple possibilities just figured id mention it lol
