Forgotten & Unorthodox exercises

Out of sheer boredom, I'm interested in starting a discussion on not-so-common exercises that yous guys/y'all perform on a consistent basis.

Some of mine: barbell hack squat (gym lacks a machine, most machines feel like they were made for someone who is 5'4''), sissy squats, dumbbell lat pullover (making a comeback?), reverse grip bench press (still new to this one), GHR (because leg curl machines @ my gym suck! They are missing an attachment to really lock in the legs), & lastly, serratus dips on a captain's chair

    It probably isn't that odd but I will do Zercher Squats instead of Front Squats.

    Lol, tried doing that once in a public gym...too awkward. Same stance on a leg press is somewhat close to this movement & less eye appealing (although it can look like one is giving birth)

    Cannonball squats, W press, Scott press, Viking press, Z press, floor dumbbell fly, Bradford press, Peterson and Poliquin step ups, American deadlift, Tate press, and there are some other things that I'm not sure they have names for them.

    I do Zercher squats instead of back squats :p

    Viking press is awsome - use to do this on a squat machine (sadly, I am too tall/arms too long for my squat machine @ my current gym). Use to do W press regularly. Z press seems redundant when doing presses in a bodybuilder style (not using leg drive); it's alright

    My sister and I swear by Callanetics. Started in 1986. Used the Callan Pinkney videos which we both know by heart. We turn on any genre of music (intrumentals) we're feeling, and off we go.

    I do DB single-arm floor presses. I'm sure I look like an idiot laying on a mat beside a perfectly good bench.

    My MIL introduced me to those. They are great workouts! I had a DVD too, but I'm not sure where it went...

    Gosh, my workout sounds boring after reading this thread. :laugh:

    Cambered bar squats and seal rows are about as unorthodox as I get.

    In my gym that would be weighted pull-ups... any pull-ups really. I never see anybody doing them and when I do them I get odd looks. Back exercises in general seem to be considered an oddity. ;)

    I'm pretty new at lifting but some unorthodox things I do: made lifting gloves by cutting fingers out of rubber garden gloves (they work very well btw), zercher squats, pullovers with ez bar, and the latest that I was made fun of for ( all in fun) is doing abduction work at the top of a weighted hip thrust with bands.

    Well... I like to use my old school arm blaster for curls, rope hammer curls, and rope triceps pulldowns.
    Back in the 80s pretty much every gym rat had one but when I started bringing mine to the gym for arm days last year I actually drew a crowd of young guys asking what it was, how it worked, is it a new invention.

    Lat pull overs, dumbbell kick backs for triceps, GHRs, Land Mine Viking press, leg press on smith machine, good ole dumbbell hammer curls, dumbbell tricep extensions on the floor. Nobody notices since I have my own gym at home.
