My watch used to sync the activities and workouts but it suddenly stopped. Any clues? So annoying, or like when I forget to start it before the work out begins.

I use mine religiously to track my walks/runs and have the UA Record complication to see my daily goals at a glance. I'm pretty new around here and open to any friend requests.

Apple Watch user and returning to MFP... I had a fitbit the last go around... So question, only steps are automatically synced, correct? So how do you get an accurate daily calorie burn without it syncing, or do you just accept MFP's assumption of your daily burn? I'll admit I do miss the functionality of fitbit and it paired with the fitbit app... Just trying to figure out a good way to go about this, this time.

Open the Health app on your iPhone, choose Sources at the bottom. You should see MFP, select it, then select Turn All Categories On. That should allow your workouts to sync from the Apple Watch to MFP. Note: there are some workouts on the Apple Watch that do not have a corresponding activity in MFP and will not show up. For example Functional Training on the Apple Watch will not show up on MFP.

Curious how many friends folks have on their Apple Watch 'Activity' app? Does anyone actually use it regularly?

I've had my apple watch for two days now. Everything is connected with MFP. Yesterday I walked almost 10000 steps but it was showing me that I earned back only 12 calories. When I used to have my Fitbit, 10000 steps would credit me around100 calories. I don't understand how the watch and MFP are calculating calories. I would appreciate some help because this is driving me NUTS!

Another apple watch user here! Add me too if you want.

MFP has decided it doesn't want ti sync my outdoor walk this morning and is only crediting me for steps. Tried un linking the Health app then linking it again and re syncing but not change. Any ideas anyone??

I have been on the fence on getting one. I almost pulled the trigger recently as they have been on sale for $50 off at best buy a couple times. Not sure I can justify it since I would still always have my phone on me because I would just get the gps model. A bluetooth chest strap that I can connect with my iphone would be cheaper and more accurate for a heart rate. Can anyone give me any reasons to get one instead of just a HR strap or a fitbit/garmin for less than half the cost?

Same with me. And the calorie count for 10,300 steps today is only 11 calories. ( yes I’m set to not very active) No Apple Watch workouts sync anymore for me :(.
