Can acv cause prolonged flu like symptoms?

I have been taking 1 tbsp of Bragg's acv diluted in 8 oz of water daily for three months. I had an infection a couple weeks after starting the regimen, started with a scratchy throat, developed into pneumonia. I recovered after antibiotics.
Was healthy for 2 weeks, then got really sick again, mostly in my sinuses and scratchy throat. Went on another course of antibiotics after two weeks of it. They did nothing. Doctor gave me steroidal nasal spray.
It's been a month, I am worse if anything, having severe asthma attacks too now. ( I use three different inhalers for chronic asthma.) I can't understand why I'm not getting better in spite of a healthy diet, vitamins/supplements, rigorous cleaning/disinfecting etc. Wondering if maybe it's a side effect of the daily acv, as I've never had anything this persistent before.
Has anyone else experienced these kind of symptoms after starting acv daily?
Thank you.

What you describe is very similar to how my brother responds to yeast. Do you have other yeasty things in your diet?

Um...the obvious answer is stop taking ACV and see if you feel better.

Does your doctor know about your ingestion of ACV? Are you taking it mixed into a full glass (like 10 ounces) of water? It's a really corrosive thing if taken straight - hard on tissues like the throat.

What is your reasoning behind taking it so frequently?

@cmriverside I have stopped it as of today, it hadn't occurred to me until now that it could be from that. I always dilute it in 8 oz of water and drink another 8 oz afterwards. I was only curious if others had experienced this, obviously I've now stopped to see if that's the problem.
And yes, I am under doctor's care and observation with my health regimen. He oversees my diet and knows I am taking it.
I thought it might help with blood sugar levels (I have type one diabetes) and aid in digestion.

I don't have yeasty things in my diet or sugar. I have type one diabetes and I'm prone to yeast infections though.

How are your blood sugars right now?

I'm type 1, too, and I get those flu-like symptoms when my blood sugars are out of control. Are you checking your blood sugars, and checking for ketones?

My sugars have been okay. They were great up until this latest sickness. They've been a little higher than usual since (which often happens when I don't feel well) but nothing alarming. No lows. No ketones. A1C and kidney tests all good.

As someone who is also asthmatic and has suffered pneumonia and ended up in the hospital for a week I personally don’t think acv is the cause. After my bout of pneumonia I spent almost 2 years with recurrent chest infections and was on and off antibiotics the whole time as well as steroids and changing inhalers to control my asthma. Have you had an x-ray to check your lungs are clear? Pneumonia takes a long time to recover from and really effects your immune system so for around 6-9 months later a lot of people still aren’t fully recovered, give it time to rebuild your immune system and get back on track.

    Exited to say:

Never mind. I hadn't read the whole thread , and I see the issue I raised about letting the doctor know about the ACV was already addressed.
