I'm not sure what's going on with my body wahhh!

Hey all! I overhauled my lifestyle 42 days ago (thanks MFP) and in the process have lost about 15 pounds. Cool! I calculated (and recalculated) my TDEE, subtracted 500 calories and have been tracking every morsel that enters my mouth. But for some reason, the last 10 days I've stopped losing and am at 157. I'm 5'6, my goal is 148, and the weight loss just stopped. I work out 40 minutes doing random cardio (running, rowing, zumba) 3 days a week and then I walk 5+ miles (I live in NYC so it's not weird) the rest of the time and my calorie intake is 1500. I'm active, i eat very clean, i'm tracking everything, i don't drink or eat sugar. I know i'm doing everything right but the scale has stopped moving. I'm feeling very put off I don't know what to do. has anyone else experienced something like this?

How are you measuring your calorie intake?

Ten days isn’t that long of a time, especially when you only have a few pounds left (and ideally you should only be aiming for a 250 calorie deficit). Your logging has to be as accurate as possible.

1st change nothing. It hasn’t been long enough. If you get no loss, as in none, in 3-4 weeks, cut some calories.

If you get losses but are dissatisfied with small losses, rethink. Losses slow close to goal. Slow losses will give you lots of time to adjust to maintaining.

At some point you may need to redo your numbers based on your lower weight, but 10 days is not a big enough sample size to support changing. 15 lbs in 6 weeks is fairly aggressive btw. You might consider slowing down and this is it.

If you're a younger female, you can expect this due to menses. Keep going, this is just how it goes.

That said, it took me nine months to lose the last ten pounds. It sounds like you have a good calorie goal. Tighten up your food logging. Try to make 90% of your own meals and use a digital food scale. It's super important to not make 200 calories mistakes at this point.

...are you logging your exercise, too? On exercise days, you need to eat more.

Food scale? If you aren't using one, start. Check out the thread I linked. It shows why a food scale is such a valuable tool for weight loss.
