What were some of the lies your parents told you growing up? What are some lies you tell your children?
My dad told me that he put dye in the pool that would turn green if you peed in it. I believed him. But that was bullshrimp because years later me and my friends were drunk tanning and swimming and I peed in the pool and no one was the wiser. My parents were lying liar faces.

My mom told me I was allergic to cats. Didn’t find out until I was like 13 that I indeed was not. She just didn’t want me asking for one... and honestly, I understand why

That a mother’s love is unconditional. There most assuredly are terms and conditions. Mine hasn’t had any contact with me in over 30 years because my wife had the audacity to send her ex mother in law a card.5
