Hey guys, first time posting - just wondered if anyone else experiences this...

I’ve lost 5lbs since I last took my measurements so I thought I’d check in today after weighing in. I’ve gained 3 inches around my tummy and 2 around my waist? I was just wondering if other people have the same? I’ve been making the effort to drink more as to eliminate what I think could have been water retention (weighed in the other day and the scale had gone up despite eating within limits) and since the scales have now moved down I thought it might’ve helped helped. The measurement increase is pretty disheartening and has me second guessing myself and the scale!

Do people actually bloat up this much due to retention or something else? I’ve never noticed bloating before because I’m so overweight and my tummy therefore naturally always looks mahoosive haha.

When did you last take them? Where in your menstrual cycle are you? And are you sure you are measuring in the exact same way? Like is the band equally tight around you, or did you tighten it more last time maybe?

It can be water, but it can also be bloat from food in your system. If you are eating more fiber that can definitely have an impact, same with certain foods that make you bloat (for me pumpkin or cauliflous is a big no-no if I am not chasing the balloon look). It can actually be AIR too. Especially considering the scale is going down.

If you try measuring your thighs for example that will eliminate the air variable ;)
