Curious, has anyone been to the Bahamas? If so how was it and post pictures!
I'm getting married on the beach in June there.

    I've been, and it was awesome! Of course it was in December so I was just thrilled to have some warm weather. I think you're going to have a blast. Well, obviously, I mean you're getting married. Congrats!

    "The Bahamas" is a general term for the many islands in that area. I grew up in Florida and have been to many Bahamian locations - it is truly beautiful, especially the water over the shallow reefs.

    Congrats! Where are you getting married?

    Yeah, but I'm kind of a jerk, so that's not unexpected for me. Not my first and it definitely won't be my last.

    I'm going to put a voodoo curse on this post I'm typing out now, though. Anyone who woos it will spill food in their lap at their next meal. Test me! :D

    Did we ever decide what WOO meant? I haven't read forums much lately, but it used to be both the bad woo (raspberry ketones! apple cider cures everything!) and the good woo (woohoo! Yay getting married! Yeah, I love the Bahamas!)

    Let's just assume it's the good one here....

    Also have only been there once and it was lovely. And the conch fritters are delicious. Though you can get those in lots of places. I just know I ate a bunch in Nassau.

    I went. Love Atlantis's lazy river. Don't have pics because it was before I had a smart phone so literally just have physical pictures.

    Oh it definitely did. I'm no Harry Potter, so my timing might be off, but one day... they'll spill food in their lap and I hope they remember this day. :p

    I didn't quite make it to the casino at Atlantis, but I it looked nice. The more off the beaten path you go, the more run-down the area looks, but I think the beaches are perfect.

    I've been to Nassau and Freeport. It's beautiful there! Always a warm breeze blowing, and the water is so clear. The market areas are really cool and the people are very friendly. You'll love it!
