A few years ago a Quaker missionary friend took L Carnitine to lose her cellulite. It didn't work. The only resulting observation was that her pores were seemingly oozing a fish smell. It was musky and gross. It took 2 months being off the supplement for her to normalise.1

L carnitine is to burn fat and creatine is to bring water to your muscle to make them bigger and fuller. As soon as you stop takeing creatine you will go back down.2
