    I’m upping my mileage to 70 this month. It is already getting hot here, so I am going to try to convince myself to get up earlier to run to stay cool. My husband is going to hate me!

    Another goal for the month is increasing positive thoughts on long or difficult runs. Deena Kastor’s new book is my current running read and is about changing the way you think.

    That is the next book in my to read pile. Then Yoga for Runners. Then I change gears and finally get to read I'll be Gone in the Dark.

    I’m an old jogger- not that old actually but it’s been a long while since I jogged consistently. I’m in for 50 miles in May...5/1/18 is the next day of the rest of my days!! Ready to do this!!

    <img border="0" src="https://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/w0IDneq/exercise.png"></a&gt;

    To display that correctly in your post, make sure you place the img tags around that link. So it will look, (removing the spaces in the img tags):

    [ img ] http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/w6K1EiX/exercise.png [ /img ]

    ^^^^^^^ Don't forget to remove the spaces between the brackets. ^^^^^^^^^^

    Some key things to pay attention to when posting your ticker.

    1: Use the link that ends in .png
    2. Remember the [ img] and [ /img] tags go in between the link
    3. remove the spaces in the img tags before posting
    4. YES, there is a / in the second /img tag

    In again. My goal is once again to follow my training plan. I have no idea what mileage that will be and I’m not sure I want to think about it. The numbers still look fairly human for this month though so it shouldn’t be that much.

    The long runs this month are what the second to last month (or so) of half marathon training usually is (for me anyway. my longest training runs have been 16). Only instead of being the second to last month, it’s barely the beginning. That’s been kind of a mind shift.

    152 days to the marathon (Wineglass).

    Okay y'all, alarm is set for 5AM. 10K before work tomorrow ftw...

    (Let's see if I can convince myself not to hit snooze.)

    Let me know how to do this?! I either hit the snooze or have a 2yr old waking up with my alarm.... :D
