Exercise added calories

Hi guys, Im still in my first week of using this app, can someone please explain the extra calories that is added daily due to exercise/walking. Should I be adding this to my daily total or just ignoring it? Im not trying to lose weight as I would like to stay around what I am now and increase my fitness.
