How long to see results?

Just wondering how long it took people to see results, and what measures everyone uses to track their progress? E.g. weight, measurements, keeping pictures?

Depends on the results. Feeling better, sleeping better, relieving stress was almost immediate.

It is a little different for everyone buy typically you will see and feel results within the first 30 days and others will notice within 90 days depending on how drastic your goals and changes are of course.

I notice bigger muscles once every 3 months ... but now I am at my goal weight, I notice differences based on weight .. ie 2lbs heavier (fat not water) and I lose definition

Results from weight loss? Added exercise/strength training? All results will vary depending on specified goals.

Using your scale weight, measurements, look and feel in your clothes and progress photos are all great ways to guage progress.

What are you doing and what kind of results are you looking for?

Agree with "it depends". For example, I started near-daily yoga 3 months 3 weeks ago. I can feel results because my stamina has increased and I can now hold plank without collapsing in the shoulders. Does anybody else see results? Apparently not.

"Not as soon as you'd like" is probably an accurate statement for most.

I track weight daily, strength via a lifting spreadsheet and SymmetricStrength.com, measurements on occasion, and progress photos if I think about and happen to be feeling good about myself that day. I used to scoff at the idea of progress photos but I'm happy a have some from 2015 when I first started lifting weights regularly to see how much of a net difference it's made.

For weight, the results were weekly, but visually, the closer to your ideal weight, the more noticeable. Athletically wise, going from obese to overweight was the most noticable jump, I'm convinced that's the difference between obesity and being overweight though there's probably a real medical reason there's a difference.

When I first started, I noticed after a month. Old clothes started fitting !:)
Now I’m working on getting my abs to show and I’m on week 2... see some results but nothing too major yet

It depends what you consider to be "results" and where you're starting from. I lost weight the first week and noticed looser clothes and more strength within 2-3 weeks. I was thrilled because I was convinced I would get NO results. Someone else would consider my successes to be failures and disappointments. I'm sure of that because I've seen many posts on here to that effect.
All the things you mentioned are ways I kept track of my progress. Plus I kept a journal, tried new recipes, new foods, etc. Success is what you want it to be.
