Late start. Looking to take off 10lbs of fat. Main goals are logging, abstaining from fast food/drink and alcohol. In addition to walking thru the gym doors 5x a week. I am doing my 1st 5k on sunday. Walking only as I injured myself a few weeks in while training c25k. Good luck all.

Glad to have the extra motivation and accountability! After keeping the weight off for around 3 years, I finally let 5 lbs creep back on (blame it on the bar exam, new job, new relationship, etc.). Time to start logging again!

Hi Everyone,
I am just now joining. I have had MyFitnessPal on my phone for ages, but I am just now committing to it. This looks like a great way to start it out. I have never participated in a discussion group or challenge so this will be a new thing for me. I am hoping that it provides me with some accountability.
