I'm close to my goal, so I'm not going to expect a pound a week. More like a half pound which is a little under three pounds for May. I was above my trend on May 1, so it's possible I'll hit five pounds in five weeks. But it's a fluctuation lie! I could make it a BIGGER lie and record my starting weight as of April 29 when it was 155.4. If I did that, I'd already be almost there! Well, unless I include TODAY's weigh-in because I was down two pounds from May 1, but am now pretty much back where I started.

Whooosh!! The good Lord answered my prayers!! All my body needed was a 2-hr hike and warmer weather--and bam--weight-loss! I had to remind myself that my body was in hibernation mode and I just needed Spring/Summer weather to wake up my metabolism. Looks like kicking it up a notch in April is finally paying off and the results are showing up in May. NEVER GIVE UP!!
I haven't had any weight-loss since late Feb/March...I'm so happy! I'm so motivated. Miracle May, let's do this!!

Good morning! I’m in!
This is the first time joining in on a challenge. Time to bounce back and re-set! I did real well at one point, totally clean eating, exercising, and logging in MFP, but, lost my motivation somewhere. And believe me I looked everywhere! It definitely was not on the couch or under the piece of cake that I ate! LoL
I’m real excited about getting back on track! I could use some help finding my motivation and accountability again.

Happy Sunday, everyone!
I may have spoken too soon about my plateau being over.
After a few days in the 203s I popped back up again as high as 205.9 midweek.
The week's average only dropped by 1/10 of a pound. I'll take it - it beats a gain.
For some reason my ticker isn't updating. Is anyone else having that issue? It has been stuck on 27 lbs lost for about a month now. Even when my weight is up to date (and greater than a 28 lb. loss), the ticker has remained unchanged. I can use all the encouragement I can get LOL!
The weather is finally warming up here and I felt a bit puffy for a few days, probably my body getting used to not being cold anymore. I live in the South, it's not 'cold' by most folks' standards, but it has been a cooler than usual spring and even my garden is put off by it.
Warmer weather means more outdoor activity, so we've been out fishing and stuff. It's nice to be outside before it gets super hot. I love summer, even the heat, but it's really nice to be comfortable. Not hot, not cold. Loving it while it lasts.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.

Not a bad week. I feel like I am still adjusting to recent changes in goal (just .5/week) and change in exercise. It seems like Garmin and MFP are asking me to eat a lot more calories than before on the adjustment. And I am hiking in the hills. So yesterday, I hiked 6+ miles in 3 hrs and Garmin suggested 1159 additional calories. I did not eat 2900 calories for the day, just over 2200. And I felt fine. And trying to track .5 lbs in a week with all the normal ups/downs of weight...well, it is just not precise.
Doing just fine!
