Prediabetic

Thursday’s annual lab results show that I’m prediabetic. This means I have the opportunity to change this for the better. Or, I can do nothing and eventually become diabetic, requiring medication. No thanks. Aiming for 25% carbs to nick this in the bud. Happy hours with friends are going to be hard, as well as eating out. Two happy hours are scheduled this week. On a positive note, the weather is warming up here in Iowa, so I can get out to the parks and walk my dogs more. I also recently joined a basketball league, which is good exercise. My back is a mess, so strengthening exercises will need to be added. Looking forward to learning from you all.

I also just got diagnosed with prediabetes. Sadly I can honestly say it's put me in such a funk that I think I may be sabotaging myself0
