Starting Keto

Hey everyone! I'm big dude in my 30's getting ready to start a strict ketogenic diet under the guidance of my physician. The goal is rapid large volume weight loss as I have the standard array of fat guy problems (blood pressure, lipids, etc.)

I will be checking my blood sugar and ketone levels regularly to maintain ketosis. For the first month I plan on focusing on the diet and maintenance of ketosis, but once that becomes habit I will then start adding in some moderate exercise sessions.

    I'm starting keto today. I had success a few years ago and tried getting back into off and on since then.
