The only decent thing in that article was about increasing your NEAT. Move around more during the day.

Thanks. I’m a Special needs teacher by day so I never really stop moving around and then in the evening I’m going to the gym so I’m fairly active. Buts I wondered if I can boost it any way!

Your metabolism is quite fixed. It's a series of biochemical pathways. There is no "slow" or "fast" metabolism (BMR/REE). There are minor variations over time, but your metabolism is mostly driven by your body mass.1
