If you had to pick a "diet" which would it be? Just for fun and curiosity

We know "diets" don't work in the long term but if you had to pick one what would it be.
For me if I had to it would be Paleo. I eat similar to this anyway so it wouldn't be as hard.

How about you?

Paleo
Bible diet
Military
Keto
Atkins
Insert any fad diet

My overall maintenance diet is pretty close to South Beach phase III. When I cut weight, my diet closely resembles South Beach phase II...so I guess I pretty much did pick one.

I would say a diet can work just fine if it's something you can actually adhere to for the most part. My BIL lost most of is weight eating Paleo and while he's not strict paleo, he does eat that way for the most part in maintenance save for some indulgences here and there.

That said, I look at things like SB and paleo much differently than I would something like the military diet, namely because SB, paleo, keto, etc are not only weight loss diets, but ways of eating in general.

I tried the military diet one day and said nope. I'm actually trying keto today to see if it's something that I could actually do. Not saying that I am actually going to keep trying I'm just bored today and have a lot of time on my hands. So I thought why not.

Mine is what I call the Cookie Diet :)

I eat what I want through the day, always making sure to have room for a cookie or other treat in the evening.

I have done the South Beach diet and it wasn't terrible. I would combine it with calorie counting though.

Breatharian. At least I know I'm not allergic to it, it's incredibly inexpensive, and it's really easy to plan a whole month at a time on a very limited schedule. Plus it works so well, a full month of staying completely on track will completely change your metabolism and pretty much guarantee you never have to diet again.

The one where you grow a portal in your stomach and can thus shove in unlimited quantities of everything without repercussions.

It should come with a portal to the bank vault though, because it would be expensive as *kitten*.
